Jamie Jablonski

Life is full of challenges, and sometimes, we find ourselves facing overwhelming circumstances that seem impossible to navigate. My name is Jamie Jablonski, and I’ve been where you are. I understand the struggles of living with and loving someone with a mental health diagnosis because I’ve experienced it firsthand. I’ve battled my own depression and suicidal ideations.

The pain of losing my mother to alcoholism in 2009 and my father to suicide in 2020 left deep scars on my heart.

During this time, another challenge emerged as my teenage daughter, Jenna, was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder and ADHD. As any parent would, I threw myself into supporting her mental health journey. Yet, in doing so, I realized that while caregiving is vital, maintaining connections with my son, Andrew, and my husband, Tim, was equally crucial. This revelation led me to confront my own fears, self-doubt, and worries so that I could provide them with the love, care, and support they rightfully deserved.

The path was not easy. I grappled with the constant fear of losing my daughter to suicide and the worry that I might fail them all. But I came to understand that loving myself and managing my own mind were crucial to becoming a better parent, a better partner, and a better person.

Taking the courageous step to work on myself not only allowed me to be there for Jenna in a more meaningful way, but it also ended up transforming every facet of my life. Through therapy, self-development, and guidance from a life coach, I tapped into a reservoir of strength I never knew I had. The positive effects weren’t limited to my role as a parent and spouse; they rippled outward, enriching my relationships with friends and colleagues, and even emboldening me to pursue dreams I never thought possible.

The transformation I experienced ignited a passion within me to help others facing similar challenges. I knew I had a unique perspective to offer – a blend of personal experience, professional training, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of individuals supporting their loved ones living with a mental health condition.
